30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
Day 15 - something you didn't have last year
SELF LOVE!! I have struggled for years in caring for myself and putting myself first or doing anything for me at all. I always felt that as long as my husband and kids were happy that was all that mattered but then I would fine myself so unhappy and insecure and my marriage was suffering because of it. In march I couldn't take it anymore and decided to stand up for myself. I did it! Since then, my marriage and life has only gotten better each day and stronger. I refuse to put up with any bullshit from anyone and I will not tolerate no disrespect. I deserve to be loved from myself and my family and I will not settle for anything less. I am worthy!

Day 14 - an opportunity
I was given the chance at work to apply for other positions and or department that we have hiring. As much as it would be nice to learn more, I just love my current position so much. Maybe in another year or so I possibly take the chance if it were to present itself again.

30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
Day 13 - something you use daily
My iPhone! 😏 I miss the good 'ol days when we used to memorize peoples phone numbers and couldn't use the house phone after 10. Sneaking into the kitchen to use the phone after hours and not getting caught was a thrill! Now it's like if we don't have our phone, we're lost. It sucks to say but I have reached the point where I can't live without my phone. 😔 This generation don't know the struggle and I wish they did because my childhood was so much more fun and all my kids want to do is play on electronics.

Day 12 - 3 big things
This month the big things that stand out to me are baptism, football, and primary program. We've been so busy back to back but for good reason. My nephew Soldier was baptized. Legend played his first year in football and Raider's second year. Royal is an old lady and is in young women's now so just our boys had their primary program today along with their cousins. What a blessing this month has been so far.

Day 10 - a memory
Back in June of this year, we had our family vacation and decided to go to Seattle, WA. Spent almost a week out there and had a blast. We always have so much fun when we go out there but this one was definitely one to remember. Celebrated Royal's 12th birthday out there as well and spent some quality time with our Tuiloma side. Seattle is so beautiful especially at night and sometimes I think about moving there lol. It's hard because I love Utah but a new scenery is very tempting. We'll see what the future holds but for now I am grateful to have this memory with my family.
30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
Day 9 - a tv show or a movie
I love movies and movie nights are the best! I have so many shows now as well because since the pandemic, everyone has just been binge watching like crazy. Because of the holidays I will have to say one of my favorite movies is definitely the family stone. Always a good recommendation if you haven't seen it and it's just fun to watch any time of the year, not just the holidays.

Day 8 - favorite food
This is a tough one because I love food. There's so many things that are my favorite and I wouldn't be able to choose just one thing. I have a favorite from all different cultures. Wish samoan food my favorite is kale and palusami for sure and it has to be made by my dad. Chinese food I pretty much love most of it. Still have so much that I want to try. Tried Indian for the first time this past weekend and it was great. A bit spicy but I need to go back and try more stuff from their menu. I enjoy a good burger and fries as well. My husband's bbq is one of my favorite things and he can also cook so many other foods that I love. He's my personal chef. So basically I can't just pick one thing. Food is life!

Day 7 - 3 little things
For halloween my family decided to do the cat in the hat theme for our costumes. They drive me nuts but I am so grateful for my 3 little things.

Day 6 - something in nature
I celebrated my birthday camping in Jordanelle, it was amazing. Celebrated with some of my favorite people in the whole world. I'm so grateful for my sisters and their families for making this a special year for me. Being in the woods with nature has become one of my most favorite things.

30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
Day 5 - a place that makes you happy
I can't really say I have a specific place that makes me happy because honestly, it's wherever my little family is. I'm so grateful to have a family of my own and when we're together, we're a damn good time! Boring I know lol but I just wanna be wherever they are because that's what makes me truly happy.

BYU COUGARS!
My boys and I went to our first BYU game and we had a blast! Thanks to my brother for hooking us up with tickets. We need to step up our gear big time because we had nothing BYU to represent lol. I'm just glad my boys had a good time and I look forward to many more college and NFL games in the future.

Day 4 - favorite season
30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
Day 3 - a song
I love music! I'm married to a big time music person and then had some crazy kids who love music as well especially our daughter. I am grateful for so many different songs and genres of music that it's hard to pick just one. It all depends on what point in my life I'm at or what I'm going through that certain songs will get me through it. One of my all time favorites that always gets me through a rough time is probably "nobody can stop me -Bizzy Bone" Thats my jam! I put on my headphones and turn it all the way up and it makes me happy. Music is beautiful and I am grateful for that.
30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
Day 2 - a person
Grateful for my guy! We've definitely had our fair share of bad times...so bad that I often thought we weren't gonna make it together and end up divorced. It's been a struggle! We've had many bad times but our good times outweigh those bad ones. Marriage is not easy at all, I don't think any relationship is...it all takes work from all sides to have a good and healthy relationship. This guy knows me so well. He can always tell when something is wrong with me or what kind of mood I'm in. He gives me the best gifts even when I tell him not to. He cooks and feeds me which is one of my favorite things about him lol. He has my back through every decision I make especially with our kids. He is strong, kind, sweet, and loves me. I always say he's lucky to have me lol but I am also blessed to have him. I love the place we are in now in our life and relationship and I pray that we only get better and stronger together. He's my person!
NOVEMBER 30 DAYS OF GRATITUDE
I haven't posted a single thing all year, it's been a rough one but also filled with many blessings. I decided to join in on the November 30 days of gratitude challenge and instead of posting it on social media, I thought it would be better to post on my blog.
Day 1 - something in the room
My room is my happy place and something I am most grateful for in my room is definitely my big bed! It has to be King size because my husband is a big guy. My favorite moments are early mornings when it's dark and it's raining outside but I am cuddled up under the covers all nice and warm on my big comfy bed. My kids don't see how blessed they are to even have a bed because growing up times were tough and we either had to share or didn't even own a bed at times. We try to teach them that there are people who would give anything to have a bed or even a roof over their heads. They're still learning that cause I swear they are too spoiled. Anyway, I love my bed and I am forever grateful to have one.
